Chemistry 142. Remove 7 glovebags of asbestos elbows. Air monitor 32 minutes.
Thornton Hall A-wing at elevator 2B. Floor tile negative, mastic positive for asbestos. 7 am Saturday.
Thu 9-29-2016. Chemistry 142. Seven glovebags for asbestos joints/elbows with fiberglass. Floor mastic phase will vent the fumes into the ceiling stove pipes that serviced the fume hood at rear of room, vent through chase to top of building and outside. The mastic fumes generate our most complaints, and create our biggest fire danger. Fire danger is 2 Moderate from fumes. Job Hazard Analysis for Floor tile / Mastic. Chemistry 142 went into hiatus on 9-1.
Cochran House. Black glue is positive for asbestos.
Wed 9-28-2016. Help Sign Shop. Install signs at Lake Monticello clinic.
Chemistry 142. Take one load of floor tile to dumpster. Get 2nd load from the room.

Cochran House. Bathroom floor tile with heat gun, very slow. Entry room cut out lowest 6 inches of paneling stained with mastic remover. Fine cleaning.

To avoid leave and overtime in same week. Problem occurs when timekeeper accounts for hours not worked, instead of only hours worked. For example, if you're out Monday and record 8 hours university leave AND you work Saturday, that's 8 hours overtime. But you worked 40 hours! Getting paid 32 hr + 8 hr OT - 8 hr UL. If Monday is left blank, the software handles it like a flexible schedule, not 5 weekdays at 8 hours.
