Fri 9-9-2016. Private Clinics 2545. Replace tile where asbestos spray-on is above drop ceiling. Previous on 7-7 and 7-8.

Old Medical School MED 4766. 3 glovebags removed. I wore the air monitor and later should receive the sample analysis form. Elbows cut out.

Wed 9-7-2016. Alderman Library 2nd floor dirt room. Remove 3 glovebags.

Timesheet for payday 9-9. To avoid leave and overtime in same week. I first discovered this issue when I came to the Asbestos Department. Because of all the overtime, leave was being used up before the end of the year. How can this be? You're working overtime and your leave is shrinking. That's because you need a day off after 8 or more consecutive days. That's a day of leave although that week may be more than 40 hours worked. That's abuse of leave, using it as a routine day of rest. Colleagues off every weekend don't use any leave to be off. So you argue that overtime is paying for your leave; yes, at half price. The problem arises when timekeeper accounts for hours not worked, instead of inputting only hours worked and letting the software handle it.


Tue 9-6-2016. Alderman Library 2nd floor dirt room. Various asbestos pipe insulation, mastic and mag, and fiberglass. Hang 3 glovebags for sensors. Shutdown and removal tomorrow. The rusty elbow near center of first photo was cleaned up 5-31. Still leaking above it.

Peyton House on Rugby near Beta Bridge. Asbestos siding removed for 4th and final scupper. Last work Fri 8-19.

Old Medical School MED 4766. Continue wrapping asbestos mastic/mag elbows with red tape.

Hotel B Washington Hall East Range. Asbestos floor tile/mastic on wood floor.
